Access Guidance

　

Hotel Equatorial Shanghai is ideally located at the busy junction of Huashan Road and Yanan Xi Road, which is in the heart of Shanghai's business district and only a short distance away from the main shopping area of Shanghai. The hotel is 12 km from the Hongqiao International Airport (SHA), 50 km from Pudong International Airport (PVG), 7 km from the harbour and 5 km from the railway station. It is only a few minutes¨ walking distance from the Jing¨an Temple Station of Metro Line 2, which links Pudong new area with the traditional central area of Shanghai.

The Metro Line 2 subway station Jingan Temple is just across the street from the hotel and offers very quick access to Nanjing Road and across the river to Pudong.

　

　

　

Plan B: Shanghai Pudong airport to Hotel Equatorial by taxi

　

The taxi is very common and popular in Shanghai. The threshold fee is only RMB 11 yuan, which can cover a less-than 3 km distance drive. Above the threshold distance, the drive fee is RMB 2.1 yuan/km and above 10 km, the fee is increased to RMB 3.1 yuan/km. Since the distance between Pudong Airport and Hotel Equatorial is far (~50 km), the fee of taxi drive is about RMB 170 yuan for one run.

Note: This service is chargeable, currently RMB30 per person, the bus is operated by the Airport Coach operator, service is subject to change. Shuttle Bus loading bay can be found opposite exit door number 6 in Domestic Arrivals. If you arrive off of an international flight, turn left on exiting customs and walk through to domestic arrivals which is on the same level.

　

　

Plan D:  Shanghai Pudong airport to Hotel Equatorial by Public Shuttle Bus

The public shuttle bus (Airport Line No. 2) runs more frequently between Pudong Airport and Jing'An Airport Check-in Building (End stop), which is located within a walking distance from Hotel Equatorial. The fee of public shuttle bus is about RMB 20 yuan/person. If one does not have too much luggage and is familiar with the area, he or she may directly go to the hotel by walk. Otherwise one may take a taxi to reach the hotel. The taxi fee for such a short distance is only RMB 11 yuan/drive (threshold fee).
